Pasta

Pasta is vestal, filling, and delicious.  From simple pasta with tomato sauce to more gourmet pasta with roasted veggies and toasted pine nuts, pasta can be served at all occasions.  Pasta can be served hot, cold, with many different kinds of sauces, with all kinds of veggies, oils, nuts, tofu, greens, mixed all together like pesto or a rich sauce ladled over a bed of pasta.  You can stuff pasta, make casseroles.  Can be a side dish or a main entrée.  With just a little pasta or mostly pasta, with bean, olives, . There are many pasta shapes for all occasions.  So many things go with pasta and pasta goes with so much.

  • Cold pasta salad – macaroni salad, with fresh veggies or cooked, mayonase, oil, lemon
  • Pasta casseroles – lasagna, with tomato, white, or veggie sauce
  • Stuffed pasta – ravioli, manicotti, shells
  • Pasta with sauces – light or heavy sauce, little or lots of vegies, tomato or other sauces
  • Pasta with oil as sauce – roasted or sautéed veggies and nuts, herbs, spices
